The Buying Process
Step 1: Consultation
I will meet and discuss your home needs and wishes. This will give us the chance to get to know each other and focus your search for the perfect home. The consultation will build trust and create comfort in the buying process.
Step 2: Obtain Financial Pre-approval
The benefits of a pre-approval for a loan before you find the home you want to buy:
You know your price range, closing costs, and monthly payment up front
A pre-approval letter will be needed when you are ready to submit an offer.

Step 3: View Homes and Find “The One!”
After a thorough understanding of your new home needs, you receive a list of homes that meet most or all of your requirements. I will set up alerts with your criteria so we are on top of all new listings. search online with real estate search sites including our Keller Williams Realty mobile search app, preview For Sale by Owners and schedule times accordingly. Visit Open Houses and new home developments.
Step 4: Make Your Offer
Once you have found your dream home, I will research the market data on the home to help you determine what to offer and I will present a written offer to the seller’s agent. There may be some negotiation required and the seller may either accept, reject, or counter your offer. When the seller accepts the offer, it becomes a legal contract.
Step 5: Get Inspection, Negotiate Repairs, Appraisal
You will hire a professional home inspector to conduct a thorough inspections of the property and we will negotiate with the seller to complete any repairs. The appraisal guarantees the price of the property matches the condition of the property.
Step 6: Final Review of Contract and Close!
The closing is the formal process of signing papers, paying fess and closing costs, and receiving the keys to your new home! You will receive a closing statement three days before closing of the final amount you need to bring to closing. A final walk through will happen the day before closing. Bring your paperwork, two forms of ID, and down payment.
